Home Remedies to Get Rid of Lice










 Lice is a problem that bothers most people. Head lice is also a symptom of poor personal hygiene and untidy hair. It is mostly seen in children. It can spread quickly through contact with other children. The main food of lice is to drink blood from the scalp. So don't take this as a trivial issue. Let's see what are the natural ways to get rid of lice.

                                            Neem oil tops the list of home remedies to get rid of lice. Heat a little neem oil and apply it on the scalp and scalp. Allow this oil to remain on your hair for at least an hour. Now, using a lice comb, part one part of the hair and comb it well. After that you can wash your hair thoroughly with any herbal shampoo. Baby oil

Tea tree oil

Known for its antimicrobial properties, tea tree oil is a proven remedy for head lice infestation. To use it, mix four to five drops of tea tree oil with some coconut oil. Apply it on your scalp and hair and leave it for an hour and then comb your hair thoroughly.

Tea tree oil is a storehouse of bioactive compounds such as terpineol, myrcene, cineole, linalool, and pinene, which provide powerful antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties to fight lice and reduce scalp inflammation and redness.



Coconut oil is rich in essential fatty acids and vitamin E, which soothes itchiness and dryness and infuses the scalp with much-needed moisture.        

Garlic

Garlic is a constant presence in most of our foods. Did you know that garlic can help get rid of head lice? Crush a few cloves of garlic and mix it with lemon juice and apply it on the scalp.



After thirty minutes, massage the head and comb it with a comb. After that wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner.

Garlic's strong odor repels lice, while its powerful antimicrobial properties, due to allicin and sulfur compounds, help repel lice. Lemon juice helps prevent excess oil and sebum from accumulating on the scalp. It also helps to maintain the necessary pH level in the hair strands for long, strong and silky hair.
